Tamiru Tadese taught at a university and worked as an electrical engineer before coffee. He and his wife Messi entered a lot from their home village of Alo, in Bensa, into Ethiopia's first Cup of Excellence in 2021 — and won it outright on their first submission. This natural is that same care applied to a Morke lot: saturated blueberry and citrus, with the clarity and sweetness a good Sidama keeps even when the fruit is turned all the way up. Scored 97 by Coffee Review, and took silver in the Traditional Natural category at the inaugural Kenneth Davids Cup.
