Janson 908 comes to us from Kai and Jannette Janson, producers we’ve had the pleasure of working with for over five years. Based in Volcán, Panama, the Janson family has built a global reputation for producing some of the most sought-after coffees in the world, with a focus on both quality and long-term sustainability.
This lot is grown at their Los Alpes farm, sitting high between 1600 and 1700 metres above sea level. The cherries undergo a 72-hour fermentation before being dried slowly in the sun for 14 days, a process that brings out incredible depth and clarity in the cup while maintaining a beautiful sense of balance.
Janson 908 is everything we love about great gesha. It’s vibrant, fruit-forward, and layered, with a refined structure that makes every sip feel a little special. Coffees like this don’t come around often, and we’re so excited to share it with you.
